Breasted chicken was outstanding!!! The portions are large and everything was delicious. Recommend 1/2 portion of fries as the basket for full order is quite large. Our server Kendall was efficient and friendly!! Thank you Kendall!! The restaurant is dated but clean and quiet. Nice place for families to gather for a menu with good variety of choices.

We pulled in around 1:00, the parking lot was full, but we found an open spot. Inside they were very busy, and we were greeted right away. The interior is simple, small town family, clean, but dated. I appreciate the charm of a generational business with a focus on good, homemade food. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered the club sandwich and the Philly sandwich and added fries. I definitely suggest sharing the order of fries. An order is a full basket of fries. Both sandwiches were great. While we were finishing up, the waitress brought pie to the table behind us and it looked amazing. So we couldn't leave without the pie. It was amazing. 17 different pies and a cake choice for dessert. If you leave here hungry, you did something wrong.

Good food, wish they were open later. Have picked up food and never disappointed in the quality. Best onion rings in town.

We stopped in here on a Sunday (the day after Christmas) for the first time. We were passing through (on 23) and we were hungry. So we found this place and was afraid it wasn't going to be much and decided we could always walk back out. We're glad we didn't, as someone else said it's an old time diner with great broasted chicken. I had a shake and it's like the olden days, thick and delicious. We'll stop by again and put it on our list of places to eat when traveling from Toledo to Columbus. A little way off of 23 (10 minutes) but worth it since you get to drive through the cute town of Upper Sandusky.

The restaurant itself is older, but well kept. The broasted chicken was perfect. Crispy outside tender inside. Wait staff was polite and helpful. Great county meal including large selection of pies.

I really enjoyed the friendly waitress, and the comfort food. I had the roast beef manhattan, i think they called it. Really good and filling. Had to take half home. Nice size portions. Small town charm . The breaded mushrooms were the bomb. Nice! Would go there again if ever get over that way again. Met a woman from Vermont. She and her companion had been there twice. She said she always plans to stop there on her trips to Ohio, because of the comfort food. What else can i say?

Broasted Heaven!!! This place has an amazing selection along with many daily specials. This is a family favorite. Broasted chicken is fresh, crisp and moist. Try the broasted potatoes or sweet potato slices. A gigantic selection of homemade cakes and pies for dessert. They also had a two sided kids menu with great options. Very reasonably priced and you won't leave hungry.
